Golden Nutrition and Wellness

Registered Dietitian based in Golden, Colorado Offering Telehealth Nutrition Counseling and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)

Evidence-based personalized nutrition counseling to help you build sustainable habits and improve your relationship with food

You’ve got a lot on your plate. Your nutrition plan doesn’t need to be another thing.

As a Registered Dietitian, I’ll help you cut through the nutrition noise, make sense of the science and figure out what actually matters for your health. My background in nutrition, food systems and community food access, as well as my personal experiences with food insecurity, have shaped how I practice. What we eat is personal, but it doesn’t happen in a vacuum; nutrition advice has to work in real life to be useful.

Together, we’ll find practical changes that fit your life, preferences and goals without rigid rules or the expectation of eating perfectly.

My Approach

• Nutrition is personal. Rather than focusing on perfection or restrictive rules, we’ll work together to create sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle, preferences and goals.

• Nutrition is more than food. Your culture, routines and environment all influence how you eat. We’ll consider the bigger picture and build an approach that works within your life.

• Nutrition is science. There’s a lot of conflicting information out there. I’ll help you make sense of the evidence and apply it in a way that is relevant and useful to you.

• Nutrition is flexible. Your needs and circumstances can change, so your nutrition approach can change with them.

About

My passion is bridging the gap between nutrition science and real life. I help people understand the information and put it into practice for lasting change.

I have two bachelor’s degrees in biology and human nutrition and a master’s degree in sustainable and resilient food systems. I am a Registered Dietitian and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach. The way I practice has been shaped by my professional background in clinical nutrition, food systems and community food access, as well as by my personal experiences with food insecurity and having healed my relationship with food during my college years. These experiences have informed how I practice and the kind of dietitian I strive to be.
